About NINJITS

NINJITS began as a playful childhood experiment--a way to blend slapstick comedy, visual storytelling, and the charm of simple stick-figure characters into something unexpectedly expressive. What started as a few doodles and animated gags quickly grew into a full dojo of personalities, each with their own quirks, flaws, and chaotic brilliance.

Where the Concept Came From

The idea was born from a love of classic martial Arts tropes, 1980's ninja movies, Saturday morning cartoons, and the timeless humor of characters who try very hard… and fail even harder. The NINJITS aren't graceful warriors--they're earnest disasters. Their world is built on timing, exaggeration, and the joy of watching someone attempt greatness with absolutely no coordination.

Why I Created NINJITS

NINJITS is a celebration of creativity, imperfection, and the fun of building a universe where every character has heart--even if they have no idea what they're doing. It's a space to explore:

The Vision

The long-term goal is to expand NINJITS into a multi-format universe--comics, animations, interactive stories, and possibly a game. Each character brings something unique to the dojo, and together they form a world that's equal parts ridiculous and heartfelt.

Originally designed by hand with pencil and paper, the characters have evolved to Photoshop, Moho Animation, Movie Studio Platinum, PowerPoint, Microsoft Copilot, and a dash of Pollo.ai. They are an almagamation of various media to bring their world and stories to life.

The Heart of the Dojo

At its core, NINJITS is about embracing the process--the missteps, the experiments, the unexpected breakthroughs, and the joy of creating something that makes people smile. It's a reminder that even the most chaotic journey can become a legend.
